COATO has more than 10,000 hectares of almond trees, mainly located in the Region of Murcia, Andalusia, Castilla La Mancha, and the Valencian Community.
Currently, we are focused on a process of converting our conventional almond orchards to organic agriculture, which represent around 2/3 of the total.
Controlling the production, processing, and marketing allows us to ensure the supply of the offered product and the monitoring of production. Thanks to our extensive technical team, which oversees the process, management, and control of the plantations, we develop varieties more resistant to cold and commercially suitable, as well as native quality varieties such as Marcona. This technique helps us improve various cultivation methods and implement less aggressive and more environmentally friendly treatment applications.
We have a specialized and professional team, modern facilities, and machinery that offer the widest range of almond-derived products, tailored to the needs of our customers: from almonds with skin to peeled almonds, and various transformations (slices, sticks, granules, flour, etc.).
Our company supplies these formats in both conventional and organic options, not forgetting the packaging and roasting or frying process in Extra Virgin Olive Oil for any almond variety.
